England cruise past India and into World T20 final
Amy Jones and Natalie Sciver guided England into the Women's World T20 final after an eight-wicket win over India on Thursday.
Jones (53) and Sciver (52) combined for an unbroken 92-run partnership to see England past their target of 113 with 17 balls to spare.
Into a fourth final, England will face Australia on Saturday looking to win the tournament for the first time since the inaugural edition in 2009.
After electing to bat first in Antigua, India collapsed from 89-2 to 112 all out as Heather Knight (3-9) starred with the ball for England.
Kirstie Gordon (2-20) and Sophie Ecclestone (2-22) also played their parts, with India unable to get going after the departures of Smriti Mandhana (34), Jemimah Rodrigues (26) and captain Harmanpreet Kaur (16).
Tammy Beaumont (1) and Danielle Wyatt (8) fell early in the chase, but Jones and Sciver led England to 116-2 and into the decider against three-time champions Australia.
