England v India, 5th ODI: England set 295-run target for India
Leeds, Sep 5 (IANS) England made a competitive 294 for seven in 50 overs against India in the fifth and the final One Day International at Headingley here on Friday.
Joe Root was the top-scorer with 113, while skipper Alastair Cook (46), Jos Buttler (49) and Ben Stokes (33 not out) came up with valuable contributions.
Indian pacer Mohammed Shami got two for 52, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Umesh Yadav, Ravichandran Ashwin and Suresh Raina got a wicket each.
India have already taken an unassilable 3-0 lead in the five-ODI series.
