England slip down in the ICC Test rankings
More misery is being piled on England as they continue to slide down in the ICC Test rankings. After the defeat in the third Test against the West Indies, they have dropped to the 4th spot with Pakistan moving to the third.
Pakistan move up a spot despite failing to beat Bangladesh in the first Test. But the good news for England is that they can retain their 3rd spot if Pakistan fail to win the second Test which will start on Wednesday.
India still lie in the 7th spot and the Windies have closed the gap on them to 14 points. If Pakistan manage to lose the Test, then they will drop below England New Zealand to the fifth spot and if they manage to draw it, then they will be placed just above New Zealand on the basis of decimal points.
