England teammates share banter on Alex Hales' facial expression while grabbing Misbah-ul-Haq's catch
Alex Hales took a catch that sent Pakistan’s first innings centurion Misbah-ul-Haq back into the pavilion for a duck on Day 3 of the Lord’s Test, but it was his unfortunate facial expression at the moment of the take that has cracked up his England teammates.
It was Moeen Ali who pointed out the picture on the social media, mockingly claiming how Misbah was unlucky because Hales looked cross-eyed and incapable of catching anything. Jos Buttler and Stuart Broad were the others who reacted to the funny image. Hales laughed along as well.

There were other reactions to Hales’ picture as well, one fan alluding to the Pokemon game in a joke.

After beginning the day on 253/7, England’s tail were quickly cleaned upfor 272 as the visitors took a slender 67-run lead, which in the context of the game might prove to be invaluable. Yasir Shah finished with a six-wicket haul while all three fast bowlers picked up a wicket apiece.
In reply, Pakistan’s openers floundered and the onus was on the middle-order once again. While Misbah-ul-Haq failed after scoring a century in the first innings, Asad Shafiq (49) and Sarfraz Ahmed (45) steadied the ship before Shah hit a few lusty blows to end the day unbeaten on 30 with Pakistan at 214/8, ahead by 281.
