Soon after Kohli led India into the ICC World T20 2014 final on Friday, England women’s cricketer Danielle Wyatt jokingly tweeted: “Kholi marry me”.

Someone replied to her tweet, saying: “He is booked to bollywood actress @AnushkaSharma” to which the English cricketer replied, “Nah he ain’t”!

Wyatt, who will be 23 later this month, has played 32 One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and 50 T20 Internationals for England.

Virat Kohli was dominant at the crease last night, scoring 72 as India pulled off a comprehensive six-wicket win over South Africa to make their second ICC World Twenty20 finals at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium here on Friday.

India made a mockery of what looked like a stiff target and cruised to 176 for four with five balls to spare as Kohli struck a blistering 44-ball unbeaten 72. Ajinkya Rahane (32), Rohit Sharma (24), Suresh Raina (21) and Yuvraj Singh (18) also made valuable contributions.

Here is the tweet:
