#5 Mohammad Shami

Veteran Team India pacer Mohammad Shami posted on his official Instagram handle, wishing his father on the occasion. He put up a picture of his father and a selfie of himself with his father in another picture.

Shami has represented the nation in all formats in his international career so far. He has played 64 Tests, 108 ODIs and 25 T20Is and has picked up 229, 206, and 27 wickets in the three formats, respectively. Shami was not included in the Indian squad for the upcoming five-match Test series against England starting June 20.

India T20I cricketer Rinku Singh also posted on his Instagram handle. He put up a picture of himself with his father and another picture of himself with both his parents as well.

"Jo hamesha peeche khade rahe, unhone sabse aage badhna sikhaya. Happy Father’s Day ❤️ (Who always stood behind, he thought me to move forward)," Rinku wrote in his post.

Rinku Singh was last seen in the recently concluded IPL 2025 season for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). The left-handed batter played 13 matches this season and scored 206 runs at an average of 29.42 at a strike-rate of 153.73.

Star India batter Abhishek Sharma also put up a post wishing his father on this day. The left-hander put up a cool picture of himself with his father on his Instagram handle.

"Legacy starts at home. Happy Father’s day, papa 🤍," he wrote.

In a recent chat with the Hindustan Times, Abhishek Sharma also credited his father to give him the courage to take up the sport.

“Everything I’ve achieved traces back to him. He’s the reason I ever dreamed this big. He always believed in me — more than anyone else ever did. That gave me the courage to take cricket seriously, even when the path looked uncertain," he said.

Star India T20I batter Suryakumar Yadav posted an old picture from his childhood days with his father. He revealed how his father gave him his first bat and the means to dream to take up the sport.

"You bought me my first bat, and with it, a dream. Happy Father’s Day to the captain of my life 🙌🏻❤️," he wrote.
