India vs England 2016 Schedule: Fixtures announced for England's tour of India
BCCI announced the dates for England’s tour of India with the clashes now set to begin on 9th November and concluding on 1st February with the third T20 match. According to the reports from Cricbuzz, England will play 5 tests, 3 ODIs and 3 T20 Internationals.
As we had seen earlier in 2012, England will head back home after the Test series for a Christmas and a New Year break. They will return to India in January to play the ODIs and the T20 Internationals.
This is going to be the first time since the 1986-87 series against arch-rivals Pakistan that India is hosting a five-match Test series.

India has never beaten England in a Test series since the 2008-09 series at home.
Visakhapatnam will be hosting its first ever Test match along with Rajkot. Last time England came to India, they won the series 2-1. Losing the first Test in Ahmedabad, England played brilliantly to outclass the hosts in the following two Tests. Monty Panesar and Graeme Swann were the players who helped them clinch the series last time, but the duo will not feature in the forth-coming Tests. It will be interesting to see how England fills their boots.

The last time England played an ODI series in India, they lost the series 3-2. Winning the first match by 9 runs, they were unable to capitalise on the win and lost the next three ODIs eventually losing the series.
