Full list of Test series India lost at home since 2000 ft. IND vs NZ 2024
India has established itself as one of the most dominant Test cricket teams at home over the past two decades. Since 2013, they have maintained a stellar record on home soil, consistently winning against visiting teams.
Teams visiting have always found it difficult to compete against India in their own backyard and beating them has been a tough challenge. With the likes of Ravichandran Ashwin, and Ravindra Jadeja, and contributions from a strong batting line-up, they have been a dominant force at home.
However, even the best of teams can face setbacks at times. Despite immense success at home, there have been instances where India have suffered series defeats at home in the longest format.
After a long period of 12 years, India's unbeaten winning streak at home came to an end with their defeat against New Zealand in the second Test at Pune.
Here, we take a look at the four times when India lost a Test series at home since 2000, including the most recent defeat against New Zealand.
