GIF: Varun Aaron's beamer to Mushfiqur Rahim in Asia Cup

Indian speedster Varun Aaron had a horrid time in India’s opening encounter in Asia Cup when he leaked 74 runs in his 7.5 overs.

Though he regularly clocked high 140 kmph speed, his wayward bowling was the concern for India. He ended up getting one wicket when he bowled Anamul Haque, but otherwise had a forgettable outing.

The last ball of his 8th over was a beamer, the 2nd of the day by Aaron, and hit centurion Mushfiqur Rahim flush on the ribs. It was a painful experience for the Bangladeshi captain who immediately went down. Aaron ran to the batsman and apologised, but was banned by umpires from bowling any further in the innings.
