Girl faints, causing Alastair Cook to swear in press conference
A young girl fainted during the England press conference causing Alastair Cook to swear on live television.
The English cricket captain has had to come out and apologize for the incident as it was on live television being broadcast by Sky Sports News.
Speaking on the eve of the second Ashes test, Cook was interrupted when suddenly a teenage girl fainted during the proceeding. A shell shocked Cook, blurted out: ‘S***’ before requesting the England media manager to get hold of the team doctor.
When the girl regained her consciousness and was back and ready, Cook laughed off the issue saying that he probably was very boring hence, causing her to faint.
The broadcaster offered an immediate apology at the time of the conference, and Cook followed suit later by sending an apology to the TV station.
