Glenn Maxwell and Aaron Finch involve in Twitter banter

Maxwell and Finch were part of Australia's World Cup winning team

The third Test between India and South Africa is proving to be an excellent ice breaker for cricketers around the world. Glenn Maxwell and Matthew Hayden first took to Twitter to slam the Nagpur pitch, then Michael Clarke and Herschelle Gibbs had a disagreement on what is the ideal Test pitch.

Two of Australia’s World Cup winning players, Glenn Maxwell and Aaron Finch were involved in an interesting conversation on Twitter, which all started with the Nagpur pitch and the conditions in India.

The third Test is proving to be interesting not just off the pitch, but on it as well. South Africa, who began the day on 11/2 were bowled out for 79, their lowest-ever score against India.

The hosts were then subsequently bundled out for 173 and set the visitors a challenging target of 310. The Proteas are two down at the close of play, 278 runs away from an improbable victory.

Maxwell, who had earlier voiced his disapproval of the pitch being used in Nagpur, engaged in some friendly banter with his Aussie teammate on Twitter.
