Glenn McGrath's wax statue unveiled

Glenn McGrath’s wax figure has been unveiled at Madame Tussauds, thereby featuring alongside fellow cricketers Shane Warne, Donald Bradman and Sachin Tendulkar in the sports category.

The Australian public voted for this Aussie legend, clearly exhibiting their desire to see their sporting her0 immortalised.

Around 60 Madame Tussauds artists crafted the statue over a period of 33 days.

250 different measurements were taken, along with exact colour matches of his eyes, skin tone and hair to make the final figure.

Glenn had to beat famous personalities like Mick Fanning, Wally Lewis, Jacqueline Freney, Lauren Jackson and John Eales in the voting.
