Chennai Super Kings (CSK) secured a place in the IPL 2023 Final with a win over the Gujarat Titans (GT) last night in Qualifier 1. CSK emerged victorious for the first time in an IPL match against GT, recording a 15-run win at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.
Captain MS Dhoni used his resources well to stun the defending champions at Chepauk. Hardik Pandya won the toss and decided to field first. GT did a decent job and restricted CSK to 172 in the first innings.

Gaikwad lost his wicket for 60, while Mohammed Shami dismissed Conway 10 runs short of his half-ton. Shami emerged as the pick of the bowlers for GT with figures of 2/28.
