Harbhajan Singh faces ire of MS Dhoni fans on Sourav Ganguly's birthday
Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh has faced the ire of MS Dhoni fans after the bowler wished the former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly on his 44th birthday on Twitter. Bhajji called Ganguly as the best-ever captain, which seemed to not go down too well with the fans of MSD. It must be noted that Bhajji made his debut under the tutelage of the Kolkata-born batsman.
The former Indian captain is responsible for making the Indian team hungry for success and instilled a winning mentality in the side. Ganguly is also responsible for the promotion of eventual world cup winners Yuvraj Singh, Zaheer Khan and Virender Sehwag, who all had an excellent part to play in the competition.
The current ODI captain MS Dhoni too has had an impressive career as a captain, leading his team to a World Cup victory and taking the Indian team to first place finishes in both ODIs and Tests. He is particularly known for his cool demeanor as captain, often being called ‘captain cool’.

Dhoni and Singh have had an allegedly frosty relationship as it is believed that the current ODI captain froze him out of the team in favour of spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, as the bowler played with Dhoni regularly in the Indian Premier League. Although his success could also be attributed to him being younger than the Punjabi bowler.
