Today, as per latest reports, Karnataka has taken a 133-run lead in the first innings on Day 4 of the 2nd semifinal.
Punjab were all out for 270 in the first innings. Having started the Day 3 at 39/2, Karnataka had managed to get a lead of 81 runs by the end of the day as they reached 351/5 at stumps on Monday.
Robin Uthappa and Manish Pandey frustrated the Punjab bowlers, and Harbhajan Singh had a bat-pad appeal turned down, despite the ball kissing the gloves on its way.
However, Harbhajan did have his man when he trapped Uthappa lbw as the batsman offered no shot.
According to latest reports, Karnataka had reached 431/5 on Day 4.
