Harbhajan Singh to lead Punjab; Yuvraj also selected for Vijay Hazare Trophy
Former Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has been named captain of the Punjab side for the North Zone one-dayers of the upcoming Vijay Hazare trophy, which begins on the 27th of February.
Yuvraj Singh, the most expensive player of the IPL auctions is also named in the squad, which was announced on Monday. In their opening game, Punjab will play against Haryana at the Jamia Milia grounds in Delhi on the 27th of February.
Only after a five-day preparatory camp, which concluded on Monday at the PCA stadium was the squad finalised. Kings XI Punjab player Mandeep Singh has been named vice-captain of the side.
