Hardik Pandya's good friend Lisha Sharma is generating almost as much attention as her 'boo'
Within a matter of 3 deliveries, Hardik Pandya went from almost becoming a villain to being India’s hero on Wednesday night. The Group 2 Super 10 encounter between India and Bangladesh at the Chinawaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru turned out to be a really memorable one for Pandya.
The 22-year-old, who made his international debut for India only 2 months back against Australia in Adelaide, seems to have solved one of the MS Dhoni’s biggest problems. Dhoni has been quite vocal over the last few years about the absence of a bowling allrounder, and his prayers seem to have now been answered.
However, it is not just on the field that the young man is making waves. Away from the cricket ground, Pandya has been seen with Lisha Sharma, a well-known model from Jamshedpur, who is currently living in Kolkata.
According to reports, The Baroda cricketer and Lisha have known each another for one year and have been hanging around in several malls in Kolkata. They have also been seen dining at the Taj Bengal.
When asked what she thought about Pandya, Lisha said,” A gem of a person. Chivalrous. Very grounded. Calm. Perfect.”
She also talked about what Pandya was going through after bowling that crunch over in the match against Bangladesh, revealing a bit about his thought-process in a crunch situation.
“No, he was so very calm. That’s the thing I like about him. In the last over he was smiling, so I asked him, ‘Tum smile kaise kar rahe thhe?’ He said if he felt the pressure at that point then the pressure would have shot up,” she said.
Lisha had earlier posted an image of her with the all-rounder on her Instagram account, calling him her ‘boo’ and adding that she found him to be “dating material”.
“See, the whole of India wants to date him. So obviously, he is dating material,” she said.
Her hashtags #allrightsreserved and #taken seem to indicate that the two are very close to each other, and that has made Lisa quite the cynosure of eyes among Indian cricket fans.
