Hilarious banter between Australian youngsters from RCB and RPSG; Ishant Sharma trolled

Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers during their partnership

One of the best aspects about the IPL has been the bonding between players of different countries as they come together to fight for common franchises and against common enemies. RCB’s Kane Richardson and RPSG’s Adam Zampa are two youngsters who form the Australia bowling line-up these days, and a conversation between them after their team’s IPL match recently is bound to put a smile on your face.

During Friday’s match, Kane Richardson was the bowling spearhead for RCB, as they claimed a 13-run victory over the last-placed Pune franchise. However, the biggest heroes of the day were Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers, who scored 83 and 80 runs respectively.

Zampa was one of the players sitting on the RPSG bench as Kohli and De Villiers blasted their opposition out of the game. The arrogant way in which he reacted to Richardson’s tribute to the master blasters after the match has taken some by surprise.

Richardson tweeted a picture of Kohli and De Villiers, saying, “Fairly lucky to get to watch these 2 up close every game.”

Zampa replied pretending to not know who the batsmen were, saying, “Who are they?”

Richardson’s answer won the day. He said, “Ask Ishant.”

Ishant Sharma had been one of the bowlers who had suffered the worst of the bludgeoning bats of Kohli and De Villiers, going for 47 runs in his 4 overs, and so had to become the unfortunate butt of a joke at the end of this hilarious banter.
