I would drop Ian Bell for Kevin Pietersen for Ashes: Geoffrey Boycott

Kevin Pietersen last played for England in 2014

Geoffrey Boycott has commented saying that England cricket team should consider Kevin Pietersen (KP) in place of out of form Ian Bell for the coming Ashes' season. The former England captain added saying that Bell's poor run has dented his confidence.

The Ashes 2015 will be played in England and is all set to begin on July 8. The England cricket board's new director Andrew Strauss has maintained his stern call on Pietersen saying that they have "massive trust issue".

"Bell seems to lack confidence and belief in himself at the moment, which is crazy really because he has all the talent in the world. KP would be better player than him at this moment," Boycott was quoted saying by Telegraph (UK).

Boycott also praised Joe Root for his continues good form and said that he has the potential of becoming one of England's all-time greats. He also recommended Alastair Cook to consider Adil Rashid for Test matches.

The right-handed batsman has played 108 Test matches for England scoring 8114 runs at an average of 47.42.
