ICC Cricket World Cup 2015: England announce 30-man provisional squad
The ECB has announced England’s provisional 30-man squad for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.
Alastair Cook stays in charge as captain. Alastair Cook has been under pressure after losing two ODI series against India and Sri Lanka at home. Currently he and his biys trail 2-1 in a seven ODI series against Sri Lanka.
The squad includes the young guns Craig Kieswetter, Luke Wright, Jason Roy and James Vince.
Jonathan Trott to a lot of people’s surprise doesn not feature in the provisional squad. This is probably because Trott has been missing from the national team after having left the Ashes in December 2013.
The Yorkshire duo of Adil Rashid and Jack Brooks feature.
