ICC T20 World Cup 2016: Five funniest moments that don't fade away

“Why so serious?” said the Joker in The Dark Knight before adding, “let’s put a smile on that face!”

While the Joker’s method of putting a smile on the face includes using a knife to pierce the corners of the mouth, we certainly don’t entertain that and would request you to not go down that road.

However, there is a much simpler way to see yourself smiling. In the World T20 2016, there were some moments that don't fade away, quite like the Axe Signature line of body perfumes. We pick out the five funniest moments that will bring a smile to your face and cheer you up.

David Willey Champion dance

David Willey celebrates by doing the 'Champions' dance after dismissing Darren Sammy.

One of the best things to come out of this tournament was the viral spreading of the song made by Dwayne Bravo: Champions!

The song created waves as every West Indian danced to it in order to celebrate just about everything. However, it wasn’t restricted to only the West Indians. As many fans became dancers to the song, England’s David Willey became its first non-West Indian exponent on the pitch.

After Darren Sammy lofted the ball to Alex Hales, for what seemed like a practice session catch, David Willey celebrated the wicket by doing the ‘Champion’ in front of the very creators of the song, an act which put a smile on everyone’s face.

The West Indies players – Dwayne Bravo and Darren Sammy, after defeating India in the semis, performed the dance while walking from the bus to the hotel. Chris Gayle was also dragged into the dance and he also showed off his moves to the popular song. The fans assembled to greet the players also got involved and they made it a spectacle. These guys sure know how to party!
