ICC Test rankings: England move up two places to third, India slip to fifth
India’s 3-1 defeat to England in the recently concluded 5-match Test series has resulted in England, who were fifth earlier, moving up two places to 3rd spot in the ICC Test rankings, while India have slipped from fourth to fifth.
Meanwhile, Sri Lanka’s 2-0 victory against Pakistan in Mahela Jayawardene’s farewell Test series has seen the Island nation jumping up two places to fourth. Pakistan, on the other hand, have plummeted to the 6th position, which has been vacated by Sri Lanka, after having been 3rd before the 2-match series started.
There is no change to the top two, with South Africa, who have 124 ratings points, occupying the No. 1 spot, closely followed by Australia at No.2.
