ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2022: Full schedule, squads, match timings and live streaming details
The International Cricket Council (ICC) is all set to host the 12th edition of the Women’s ODI World Cup in March and April 2022. The first match of the tournament starts on March 4, with hosts New Zealand taking on West Indies.
Team India’s first match is scheduled for March 6 against arch-rivals Pakistan.
A total of eight teams will take part in the tournament. India Women, Pakistan Women, Australia Women, Bangladesh Women, New Zealand Women, South Africa Women, England Women, and West Indies Women are the participating teams.
England will enter the tournament as defending champions after defeating India in a close encounter in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2017 finale.
Bay Oval, University Oval, Seddon Park, Basin Reserve, Eden Park, and Hagley Oval are the venues for the competition.
