ICC Women's World Cup Team of the Tournament announced, no Indian cricketer in the team

The ICC Women’s World Cup Team of the Tournament was announced today. The 12-name list was dominated by players of Australia and England. Sadly, no Indian player was included in the team while Sri Lanka’s Eshani Kaushalya, who gave some eye-catching performances, was  the lone Asian representative in the team.

Champions Australia and runners-up West Indies contributed a total of six players to the team. New Zealand’s Suzie Bates (who also won Player of the Tournament award) was named Captain of the team. The side also features four England players, and one each from New Zealand and Sri Lanka.
