1 – Yuvraj Singh is the only Indian spinner to have recorded better bowling figures than Ravichandran Ashwin in a World Cup match for India. The top two spells are both held by Yuvraj – 5/31 against Ireland in 2011 and 4/6 against Namibia in 2003.

4 – Ashwin registered career-best figures of 4/25. This is the first time that the Indian spinner has picked up 4 wickets in an ODI since making his debut in June 2010.

6 – India became the first team to pick up 6 wickets with spin at the WACA in Perth, with Ashwin accounting for 4 wickets and Jadeja for 2.

12 – India have now won 12 ODIs in a row in ICC Tournaments, with the run beginning during the 2011 ICC World Cup against West Indies.

21 – UAE were playing their 21st ODI today, nearly 21 years after they played their first international match in the one-day format.

31 – Shaiman Anwar and AM Guruge put on 31 runs for the 10th wicket for the UAE, which is the highest by any 10th-wicket pair from the UAE in ODIs.

102 – The lowest total by any side against India in a World Cup game. The previous lowest was 109 by Sri Lanka during the 2003 World Cup in South Africa.

187 – This was India’s biggest victory in terms of number of balls remaining in a World Cup match and their second biggest in an ODI. The highest is 231 in a match against Kenya at Bloemfontein in 2001.

440 – This was India’s 440th win in ODI cricket. In the process, they have equalled Pakistan's tally of victories and are joint-second behind Australia, who have 523 wins in the format.
