ICC World Cup 2019: Mike Hussey includes Karthik and Rahul in his World Cup squad

The 2019 World Cup gets underway in England from 30th May. The teams are left with limited games to get their best 15 players for the World Cup. Former Australian batsman Mike Hussey picked his Indiasquad for the World Cup.

India are currently playing a five ODI match series against Australia. This will be India's last series before the mega event and so we could see a lot of experiments during the series. Its been a trend that the media house asking experts to pick the squad before the World Cup.
The heart of the matter
One of India's leading website Cricbuzz put Mike Hussey in the selectors' shoe to pice India's 15 members for the World cup. It's an easy pick for the top three as he went for Rohit, Dhawan, and Kohli. He placed Rayudu at number four, followed by the former Indian captain, MS Dhoni, at number five. Kedar Jhadav and Hardik Pandya slots in as all-rounders. When it comes to the bowling department, he picked both the wrist spinners, Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav. He has picked Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah as fast bowlers in the playing XI.
When it comes to the rest of the squad, Mohammad Shami has been picked as the back up fast bowler. At the top, he went with KL Rahul, who showed decent form against Australia in T20I series. The Australian middle order batsman went for Dinesh Karthik ahead of Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja for the all-rounder slot.
