ICC World T20 2016: Usain Bolt celebrates West Indies' victory with the 'Champion' dance

The ‘Champion’ dance has become a symbol of the West Indian celebration this World T20

Ace sprinter Usain Bolt, who hails from Jamaica, was ecstatic about the West Indies lifting the ICC World T20 trophy for the second time, and expressed his happiness on social media through the much fabled ‘Champion’ dance.

In the video attached below, Bolt is seen celebrating the Caribbean victory, by dancing on the moves of the song “Champion” while live scenes from the post-match celebrations are seen on his TV behind him.

Bolt is a multiple Olympic Gold medallist (in 2012 and 2008) and holds the world record for 100m sprint with the time of 9.58 seconds.

The West Indies defeated England in the final of the World T20 at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata last night, with Carlos Brathwaite hitting four sixes of four consecutive balls when 19 runs were needed off the final over.

Marlon Samuels also played a brilliant hand with a knock of 85* while Dwayne Bravo, Samuel Badree and Brathwaite excelled with the ball picking up 3, 2, and 3 wickets respectively.

Chasing 156 for victory, West Indies got home with 2 balls to spare in a nail-biting encounter, and soon after the victory, the entire West Indian squad was seen dancing to the tunes of the ‘Champion’ song.
