Amidst news of rift in the team, change of coaching staff and split captaincy, Team India will take on West Indies in the first of the three T20s in Florida. This will be India's first international fixture post the World Cup.
Even though most of the senior players decided against taking rest, there are bound to be a few changes, especially in the bowling department and in the middle-order.
The team management is spoiled for choices and it will be interesting to see who makes it to the final XI. Here is India's predicted playing XI for the game.
Openers
Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan
Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan are set to reunite once again at the top order. India does have the option of going with KL Rahul, but Shikhar Dhawan is likely to get the nod.
Middle-order
Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer
Rahul is likely to be accommodated in the middle-order. Whether he bats ahead of skipper Virat Kohli at number 3 or not is yet to be seen. Shreyas Iyer talked about the importance of getting a long run in the side and will hope that he gets his chances on the tour.
Wicket-keeper, All-rounder
Rishabh Pant, Krunal Pandya
Rishabh Pant is set to be India's first-choice wicket-keeper in the absence of MS Dhoni. India will have to decide between Ravindra Jadeja and Krunal Pandya when it comes to picking the all-rounder. And even though Jadeja is in red-hot form, the incumbent Krunal is likely to be picked.
Bowlers
Rahul Chahar, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Navdeep Saini, Khaleel Ahmed
Rahul Chahar is set to make his debut for Team India. Chahar has been impressive in the IPL and India A tours and will look to do well against West Indies. Bhuvneshwar Kumar is set to lead the new-look Indian pace-attack, which will comprise of exciting Navdeep Saini and Khaleel Ahmed.

Virat Kohli
Virat Kohli had a quiet World Cup compared to his own high standards. The Indian skipper will want to get into runs in the tour right from game one.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar
The Indian bowling attack is looking light on experience against the mighty Windies batsmen which will make Bhuvneshwar Kumar's role extremely crucial.
