India beat Sri Lanka by 81 runs, qualify for final
Port of Spain, July 10 (IANS) India beat Sri Lanka by 81 runs (D/L method) to top the group and qualify for Thursday’s final of the Tri-Nation Series at the Queen’s Park Oval here on Tuesday.
Chasing a revised target of 178 runs from 26 overs, India bowled out Sri Lanka for a measly 96 in 24.4 overs with pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar picking up his first four-wicket haul.
Earlier, India’s innings came to an end at 119/3 from 29 overs after the match was disrupted by rain.
