India elect to bat against Australia in 2nd tri-series ODI

Melbourne, Jan 18 (IANS) India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat against Australia in their first One-Day International (ODI) of the tri-series at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) here on Sunday.

India: Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (captain), Suresh Raina, Akshar Patel, Ravichandran Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Shami and Umesh Yadav.

Australia: David Warner, Aaron Finch, Shane Watson, Steven Smith, George Bailey (captain), Glenn Maxwell, Brad Haddin, James Faulkner, Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins and Gurinder Sandhu.
