India Predicted Playing 11 vs South Africa for the 2024 T20 World Cup Final

India are all set to lock horns with South Africa in the final of the 2024 T20 World Cup in Barbados on Saturday, June 29. Both teams are unbeaten so far in the competition and are attempting to break their respective winless streaks in ICC events.

The Men in Blue have had a settled combination throughout the tournament, having used only 12 players. They have fielded the same XI in the West Indies leg, and that isn't expected to change for the all-important final.

India's squad for the 2024 T20 World Cup: Rohit Sharma (captain), Hardik Pandya (vice-captain), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant (wk), Sanju Samson (wk), Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj.

Reserves: Shubman Gill, Rinku Singh, Khaleel Ahmed, Avesh Khan.

On that note, here is India's predicted playing XI for their 2024 T20 World Cup final clash against South Africa.

Openers: Rohit Sharma (c), Virat Kohli

Rohit Sharma has truly come into his own in the last two matches, having notched up a couple of sensational half-centuries. The Indian skipper will want to throw Marco Jansen off his lengths once again, just like he did in the 2023 World Cup.

Virat Kohli hasn't played a single notable knock in the competition and has one chance remaining to stamp his authority. The superstar batter is no stranger to the big stage and can be backed to come good.

Middle Order: Rishabh Pant (wk), Suryakumar Yadav, Shivam Dube, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel

India's middle order has worn a similar look throughout the 2024 T20 World Cup.

Rishabh Pant has batted at No. 3, although that isn't a role he has particularly aced. Suryakumar Yadav has been one of the team's most important batters and will be key against South Africa's spinners in the middle overs.

That responsibility should ideally belong to Shivam Dube, but the southpaw hasn't been used up the order when he should be. India will do well to correct that mistake in the summit clash.

All-rounders Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel will round off the middle order. Pandya, who has contributed in every single game thus far, will need to step up once again.

Lower Order: Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh

Jasprit Bumrah and Kuldeep Yadav will be India's main trump cards in the 2024 T20 World Cup final. The duo have been simply sensational so far and will be expected to continue in the same vein.

Arshdeep Singh has returned a bagful of wickets in the tournament, even as his role has reduced slightly in the West Indies leg. The left-arm pacer will want send the dangerous Quinton de Kock packing early.
