India create record for defending lowest score after being bowled out in an ODI
India created a unique record by defending the least number of runs in a One Day International match after being bowled out by the opposition. This happened in today’s match against Bangladesh where India won by 47 runs.
India, batting first, were bundled out for mere 105 runs but recovered brillitantly to bowl out Bangladesh for 58 runs. In the process, India broke their own record which was set back in 1985 when India had successfully defended a modest total of 125 runs against their arch-rivals Pakistan.
Below is the table which lists the instances where a team has defended a total of 150 and below successfully.
