India vs Bangladesh 2019, day-night Test: When and where to watch, live streaming, match timings, weather forecast and more

Day/Night Test

After decimating Bangladesh in the first Test at Indore by an innings and 113 runs, India are set for a new challenge as they get ready to host their first-ever day-night Test match. It will be a landmark in Indian cricket history as the Eden Gardens turns pink to welcome both the teams.

Despite being one of the superpowers in the world of cricket, India will be one of the last teams to feature in a pink Test - alongside Bangladesh. It will be the first taste of the pink ball for both sides and it promises to be a cracker of a spectacle in Kolkata from 22 November.

In the context of the series, India would start as overwhelming favourites. The visitors’ poor show in the first match was indicative of the gulf between the two sides in terms of quality and experience.

The Indore Test lasted merely three days, and it will be no surprise if the Indian pacers can once again get their act right, this time with the pink cherry, to wrap up the series in quick time.

However, it will be a relatively tough ask for the batsmen from both sides to sight the ball during different hours of play each day. The bowlers are expected to have the upper hand, if the history of D/N Tests is anything to go by.
