India vs England, 2024 T20 World Cup: India player ratings as Rohit, spinners help Men in Blue storm into final

Team India stormed into the final of the 2024 T20 World Cup as they beat England by 68 runs in the second semifinal at the Providence Stadium in Guyana on Thursday, June 27. A couple of rain delays didn't affect the game too much, with the Men in Blue ending up as the convincing winners despite losing the toss.

India will now face South Africa in the summit clash of the competition as they attempt to break their ICC trophy drought. They are on a roll right now, and most of their players turned up in a big way in the semifinal.

On that note, here are India's player ratings from their T20 World Cup semifinal clash against England.

Rohit Sharma: 9/10

Rohit turned in another sensational knock on a tricky wicket that was under the covers before he got to play on it. The Indian skipper accessed areas of the field smartly and kept the scoreboard moving during as well as after the powerplay. He's really come into his own in the last two matches.

Virat Kohli: 2/10

In contrast, Kohli's tournament has gone from bad to worse. He hit one ball out of the middle, looked terribly out of rhythm off the rest, and missed an ugly and imprudent hoick to be dismissed.

Rishabh Pant: 3/10

Pant couldn't fire either as he spooned a simple catch to midwicket. He has blown hot and cold at No. 3.

Suryakumar Yadav: 8/10

It wasn't Suryakumar's most fluent knock, but he did his job given the conditions, and then some. SKY capitalized on any freebies and ensured that Rohit had support at the other end, playing a crucial hand.

Shivam Dube: 4/10

Demoted and having to face pace as a result, Dube was never going to be a roaring success. However, he lasted just one ball, in a markedly disappointing fashion.

Hardik Pandya: 7/10

Pandya contributed some crucial middle-order runs after earning a promotion. The ball he was dismissed by was also in his slot, and he'd be unhappy at having missed out on it. The all-rounder didn't have much to do with the ball.

Ravindra Jadeja: 6.5/10

Jadeja bowled three economical overs and struck a couple of important boundaries. That said, though, he does look a bit out of place on the current side.

Axar Patel: 9.5/10

Axar had an excellent game against one of his favorite oppositions across formats. He contributed 10 unbeaten runs and bowled a game-changing spell that yielded three wickets. The left-arm spinner was perfect with his lines and lengths, particularly in the powerplay.

Jasprit Bumrah: 9/10

Bumrah was, well, Bumrah. He castled Phil Salt with a peach and didn't give anything away, before wrapping up the innings with a searing yorker.

Arshdeep Singh: 6/10

Arshdeep bowled two overs that went for 17 runs. Without any movement on offer, the left-armer couldn't do much.

Kuldeep Yadav: 9.5/10

Kuldeep spun a web around yet another opposition, with his world-class spell yielding three wickets. He ripped apart the English middle order and ensured that they never even had a sniff of the target.
