India vs England 5th Test Day 5 Stats: Records tumble as India thrash England and win series 4-0
Ravindra Jadeja led India to a memorable innings victory on the 5th day of the 5th and final Test against the England cricket team earlier today as his best bowling figures of 7-48 proved to be the difference between the two sides. Ishant Sharma, Umesh Yadav, and Amit Mishra chipped in with a wicket each as England were bowled out for 207. It was sweet revenge for the Indian cricket team as they won 4-0 after losing their previous two Test series against England, one of which was at home back in 2012.
As the 5th day began earlier today, openers Alastair Cook and Keaton Jennings were on top form and put on a hundred-run partnership before Cook was dismissed by Jadeja for the 5th time this series. It went downhill from there for the visitors as their batsmen were outclassed and had no answer to what was thrown at them by the Indian bowlers. Despite being only 4 wickets down at tea, they crumbled in the final session to give India the victory.
