India vs New Zealand 2016: Watch Matt Henry's amazing catch to dismiss Mohammed Shami
Matt Henry, the New Zealand cricketer was applauded by both the hosts and the visiting team when the Christchurch-born player caught Indian batsman Mohammed Shami with an amazing effort on the second day of the Kolkata Test match.
Following a bouncer from New Zealand bowler Trent Boult in the 104th over, Shami hooked the delivery towards the long leg boundary. Henry, the 24-year-old Kiwi fielder ran to his right side and dived to catch the ball in the air with both his hands, resulting in the Indian first innings coming to an end.

The Kiwi fans ran riot on Twitter after the catch, some comparing the effort with that of Adam Bacher’s catch to get rid of Sachin Tendulkar. Bacher also ran to his right side but overran the ball in the air and had to dive backwards to his left to dismiss Tendulkar .
The Indian Cricket Team official Facebook account later congratulated Matt Henry by posting a video of the cricketer’s flying catch on the long leg boundary. Shami became New Zealand bowler Trent Boult’s second victim in the ongoing Test match between India and New Zealand in Kolkata.
Saha shines in Kolkata
On the other hand, the first session of the second day of the Test saw the Bengal batsman Wriddhiman Saha score a half-century off 78 balls. The 31-year-old wicketkeeper batsman hit seven boundaries and two sixes, scoring 54 runs with a strike-rate of 63.52. The wicket-keeper remained undefeated at the end of the Indian first innings with a score of 54.
Ravindra Jadeja and Wriddhiman Saha formed the second highest partnership for India, scoring 41 runs in the first session of the second day.

New Zealand bowlers Neil Wagner, Mitchell Santner and Trent Boult picked up one wicket each, dismissing Ravindra Jadeja, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammed Shami.
Early woes for New Zealand batsmen
New Zealand came to bat in their first innings quite brightly, however, both the New Zealand openers Martin Guptill and Tom Latham went back to the dug-out quickly after being dismissed by Indian bowlers Bhuvneswar Kumar and Mohammed Shami. Guptill scored 13, hitting three boundaries whereas Latham was dismissed by Shami, scoring only a single run.
Henry Nicholls was the next player to go as Kumar got his wicket too. The Kiwis were struggling at 34/3 after 9.5 overs.
