After romping to an easy eight wickets win in the 1st ODI at Napier, the Men in Blue took on New Zealand in the 2nd ODI at Mount Maunganui.

India's skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and decided to bat first. The Indian batsmen justified Kohli's decision to bat first as they finished with a huge total of 324/4, courtesy of superb half-centuries from their openers and cameos by Dhoni and Jadhav in the end. For the Kiwis, leg-spinner Ish Sodhi was the most economical bowler as he ended up with a bowling spell of 10-0-43-0.

Chasing 325, the New Zealand batting line up once again crumbled against the quality spin bowling of Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal. They were all out for 234 runs in just 40.2 overs. Kuldeep Yadav was once again India's best bowler as he picked up four wickets for 45 runs in his 10 overs.

With the match done and dusted, let's see how the players from both sides fared in this one-sided encounter.
