Star Sports, who are the official broadcasters for all New Zealand cricket events, including domestic cricket and international tours in the country, have decided to continue with their highly successful multi-screen and multi-language broadcast strategy for India's tour of New Zealand comprising five ODIs and three T20I matches in January 2019.

The broadcaster previously used this strategy for all fixtures of the Windies tour of India including Tests, ODI and T20I games in three languages, including two Indian languages; Hindi and Tamil on five channels.

After the overall success of their strategy in Men in Blue's previous bilateral series against West Indies, the official and exclusive broadcaster for all New Zealand home series, Star Sports has decided to continue it for the New Zealand bilateral series as well. As per the official schedule release on its website, the broadcaster has dedicated seven channels for the India's tour.

The Men in Blue's 2019 visit to the Kiwi nation is scheduled between 23 January and 10 February. As per schedule, the Indian team will visit NZ to play five one-day internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 international (T20I) matches.

They will begin their tour right after the conclusion of their ongoing series against Australia that ends on January 18.

Both teams will first clash in the five ODI matches scheduled between January 23, 2019 to February 3, 2019 with McLean Park (Napier) set to host the first ODI on January 23, followed by the second and third game in Bay Oval (Mount Maunganui) on January 26 and 28.

Then the fourth game will be played on January 31 at Seddon Park (Hamilton), while the Westpac Stadium (Wellington) will host the fifth and final ODI on November 1.

Before wrapping up the tour, both will clash in the three T20 International matches on 6, 8 and 10 February 2019 in Westpac Stadium (Wellington), Eden Park (Auckland) and Seddon Park (Hamilton) respectively.

As per sources, they will formally release the India vs New Zealand series campaign on January 10, with a tweet on their official Twitter page. Star has decided to promote the tour as "The battle of the K's (Kings)" under the tagline "KohliorKane - Who will be crowned the true King?"

Star Sports will broadcast all ODI and T20I matches on Star Sports 1, Star Sports 1 HD, Star Sports 1 Hindi, Star Sports 1 Hindi HD, Star Sports 1 Tamil, Star Sports 1 Telugu and Star Sports 1 Kannada.

While they will also live stream all games on their OTT platform Hotstar. Meanwhile, cricket fans in New Zealand can enjoy the live feed for all games with English commentary on SkySports Cricket and delayed feed on Prime TV.
