India vs West Indies 2016: Indian cricketers bonding over FIFA on the tour
After a convincing victory over the West Indies in the first Test at Antigua, the Indian players were spending a day off-the-field playing the popular game FIFA. India wrapped up the game in 4 days with the help of a brilliant double century by Captain Virat Kohli, to inflict an innings defeat on the hosts.
The test was a one-sided affair but it seems as though the players are having a pretty competitive game in the virtual world. The Indian team is currently playing a 4-match Test series in the Caribbean islands and are on the verge of winning a third consecutive Test series against West Indies in their backyard.

Prior to the start of Test series, the Indian players were seen enjoying on the seashores during a game of volleyball. Yoga sessions in outdoors were also quite a familiar sight during the build-up to the Test series. The BCCI has made all possible arrangements for the players’ well-being.
Apart from yoga trainers, the board has arranged a team cook and two masseurs. India has as many as 17 members in their support staff.
BCCI felt that sending a big support staff is in fashion these days as all major International teams do the same. Speaking about the matter, a BCCI senior official was quoted saying, “It has become a fashion these days to have a big support staff… all major international teams have it.
“Don’t be surprised to see more members in the backroom than the players in future. With the rising demands, there is a possibility of players wanting their individual support staff for tours in the future.”
We have previously seen the Indian players exploring the beautiful Caribbean islands and even posting pictures on social networking sites. The Asian giants have put on a commendable performance in the first Test with majority of the members contributing to the triumph.
Ravichandran Ashwin completed a rare feat when he scored a century and also took a 7-wicket haul to pile misery on West Indies. Anil Kumble would be pretty happy about the result who was appointed as the national coach ahead of the tour amidst much turmoil.
The second Test begins on 30th July at Sabina Park, Jamaica.
