Team India will look to end this decade on a high by squashing the West Indies team in the upcoming 3-match T20I series. India had completed a clean sweep against West Indies in the T20I series played last year while they even defeated them in the away T20I series in 2019.

Despite being the only two-time T20 World Cup winners, West Indies have not played with consistency in the T20I format. Since India have picked a full strength squad for the approaching series, West Indies will find it very difficult to get the better of the Indian team.

India will start as firm favorites to win the series but West Indies can spring a surprise at any moment. Both the teams have a bunch of match-winners in their squads and here are the three players to watch out for in the T20I series.

#3 Shreyas Iyer

India have tried many batsmen at the No. 4 position in the last few years and from them, Shreyas Iyer has come up as the brightest candidate. He had played a magnificent knock of 62 runs in the final T20I match while Iyer also shone for Mumbai in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy.

The Delhi Capitals skipper can cement his position in the Indian T20I team by continuing his fine form in the series against West Indies. For the record, the has played 10 T20I innings in his career, aggregating 212 runs at an average of 26.50.

#2 Kieron Pollard

The new T20I skipper for the Wndies, Kieron Pollard had struck six sixes in a T20I match against India earlier this year. The all-rounder will look to repeat the same performance versus the Men in Blue in the three T20Is.

Pollard has been a veteran in T20 cricket having taken part in the T20 leagues all around the planet. His overall T20 aggregate is nearing the 10,000 runs mark and if he has a good series with the bat, Pollard can breach that milestone soon.

#1 Deepak Chahar

India's new pace bowling star, Deepak Chahar stole the show with a six-wicket haul in the third T20I match against Bangladesh. He had been banging the Indian team's door after performing well for Chennai Super Kings in the IPL and Deepak has already showcased his bowling talent in his brief international career.

The Rajasthan-based all-rounder was leading his state in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Much to everyone's surprise, Chahar struck a quick-fire fifty against Delhi. He hit seven maximums in his 55-run knock and this would tempt the Indian team management to send him up the order in the T20I series.
