India vs WICB President's XI 2nd Warm-Up Match Day 2 Live Cricket Score and commentary; Watch Practice match live streaming online here

Virat Kohli was dismissed for 51 after lunch

Kohli, Rahul, Jadeja got vital fifties to boost their confidence, and Rahane and Saha chipped in with crucial knocks and more importantly spent time in the centre. India now need 9 wickets on the final day to win this one. WICB still trail by 158 runs. See you tomorrow with the live updates.

WICB (2 innings): 8 overs: 26/1, Campbell 9, Johnson 17; India: 362, WICB (1 innings): 180

That will be stumps on Day 2. India have dominated the day, and that final wicket off the final ball have put the icing on the cake. Johnson offers a tame caught and bowled opportunity and has to depart. India can force a result tomorrow.

WICB (2 innings): 7 overs: 26/0, Campbell 9, Johnson 17; India: 362, WICB (1 innings): 180

The openers have played and missed but have not shied away from playing their strokes. Boundaries have come consistently for them.

WICB (2 innings): 5 overs: 12/0, Campbell 9, Johnson 3; India: 362, WICB (1 innings): 180

Shami has been probing away outside off for all his overs, without getting the nick. The openers are hanging in there.

WICB (2 innings): 3 overs: 7/0, Campbell 5, Johnson 2; India: 362, WICB (1 innings): 180

Top over from Shami, beating the bat on more than one occasion. Lovely lengths to entice the tentative prod and then moving the ball away from the bat.

WICB (2 innings): 4/0, Campbell 2, Johnson 2; India: 362, WICB (1 innings): 180

Ashwin shares the new ball and he is on the money right from the word go.

WICB (2 innings): 3/0, Campbell 1, Johnson 2; India: 362, WICB (1 innings): 180

Good penetrative over from Shami, he has got the ball to bounce and then bowls it full to keep the batsmen guessing.

The Board President XI batsmen are out there in the centre. They have a tricky phase to see out. India will push for wickets before the close. We have 8 overs of play remaining today. Shami will take the new ball.

And R Ashwin has been run out, and with that India’s innings comes to an end at 364. The lead is 184 over the hosts. Over to the bowlers. Will we see a result in this game?

104 overs – India 362/9, Mishra 8, Ashwin 26, WICB 180

The game is meandering along at this moment. No chances taken, except for few attempted slogs by Mishra.

101 overs – India 348/9, Mishra 3, Ashwin 17, WICB 180

Ashwin has looked comfortable in his stay so far, Mishra is no slouch with the bat either. The players take the final DRINKS of the day.

98 overs – India 346/9, Mishra 1, Ashwin 17, WICB 180

Jadeja has offered a simple chance to Cornwall on his follow through and he has been dismissed for a breezy 56. Cornwall has picked up 5 wickets against the much famed Indian batting order. Amit Mishra is the final batsman for India, and he will not go down wandering.

95 overs – India 337/8, Jadeja 53, Ashwin 13, WICB 180

Jadeja has reached a very well constructed half-century, his batting will be a big bonus for the team management leading into the first test match. Ashwin too has looked largely untroubled at the crease.

92 overs – India 325/8, Jadeja 43, Ashwin 11, WICB 180

Jadeja is certainly looking to open his shoulders now, good tactics from India if they want to force a result in this match.

89 overs – India 307/8, Jadeja 33, Ashwin 3, WICB 180

Ashwin gets going with few timed shots, just like the way he bats, all timing.

We are set to begin after TEA.

88 overs – India 304/8, Jadeja 33, Ashwin 0, WICB 180

And that is TEA on the second day. Jadeja kept playing his shots, but with conviction and prudence. He has looked compact at the crease. India lead by 124 runs. Will they declare, or keep batting after tea?

OUT! Saha has been run out as he was pushed for the third by Ravindra Jadeja. He leaves the scene for a well compiled 31.

85 overs – India 296/7, Jadeja 26, Saha 31, WICB 180

Jadeja looking rather solid out in the centre, and he is playing some pleasing shots, both off the front foot and the back foot. India will be happy with his form in the match, both with the ball and then with the bat.

82 overs – India 276/7, Jadeja 15, Saha 22, WICB 180

This is tight spell of bowling from the BP XI bowlers, and the spinners have tightened the screws nicely.

79 overs – India 259/7, Jadeja 5, Saha 15, WICB 180

Jadeja replaces Rahane, and he looks in a mood to play some shots. Will not be easy on this pitch and especially against big Cornwall, who has troubled all the Indian batsmen so far.

OUT! Rahane has perished to Cornwall, as he popped a catch to leg slip. He is dismissed for 32. India 253/7.

76 overs – India 253/6, Rahane 31, Saha 15, WICB 180

The off-spinner Rahkeem Cornwall has been the pick of the bowlers for the host thus far, and he has already picked up 3 wickets for his efforts. He is bowling a lovely line and getting the ball to grip off the surface. Rahane and Saha have been watchful against him, and rightly so.

73 overs – India 247/6, Rahane 28, Saha 12, WICB 180

Ajinkya Rahane is looking far more fluent at the crease, and Saha is giving him support at the moment. Would be interesting to see the tactics of the visitors from here on, as the players take a DRINKS break.

70 overs – India 239/6, Rahane 24, Saha 4, WICB 180

Saha gets going with a beautiful clip off his legs for a boundary. India need their keeper to be among runs, come the Test matches.

67 overs – India 230/6, Rahane 23, WICB 180

Stuart Binny has been dismissed by Cornwall for 16. A mini collapse here for India. Wriddhiman Saha walks in. The ball is doing tricks for the off-spinner Cornwall.

64 overs – India 218/5, Binny 10, Rahane 17, WICB 180

Binny taking on the spinners, Rahane still very careful. The spinners are doing well, bowling in the right areas and asking a lot of questions.

61 overs – India 200/5, Binny 5, Rahane 8, WICB 180

Binny and Rahane trying their best to counter spin at the moment. Lots of close in fielders to put pressure on the duo. Rahane needs some runs going into the first Test Match.

55 overs – India 187/5, Binny 0, Rahane 0, WICB 180

Good period of play for the hosts, the spinners are getting good purchase from the pitch.

Stuart Binny is the new batsman.

India lose their 4th wicket, Virat Kohli trapped LBW by Cornwall for 51.

KL Rahul has retired, and Ajinkya Rahane has replaced him in the centre.

RIGHT, WE ARE BACK AFTER LUNCH.
