After trouncing the visitors in both meetings, the women in blue will aim to seal their maiden series sweep over the visitors when they welcome England Women for the third WODI at series at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday.

India Women

The subcontinent women completely dominated the visitors by securing comfortable wins in respective games. They first tumbled the opponents by 66 runs in the series opener, only to make it better in the second clash by seven wickets.

Batting

Jeremiah Rodrigues, skipper Mithali Raj, and Smriti Mandhana have been the key against England Women. Mandhana is coming off an impressive half-century from the earlier clash, while Raj has been the teams most experienced and consistent campaigner. Meanwhile, opener Rodrigues failed to open her account on the previous occasion but was the team's key scorer in the opening fixture with 48 runs and she will be eager to make it count on this occasion.

Bowling

The Indian bowlers seem to be enjoying their time against the English eves. Jhulan Goswami and Shikha Pandey shared eight scalps among them to skittle the English lineup for a paltry 161, while Ekta Bisht was the pick of the bowlers in the opening game with four wickets. These three are likely to pose a major threat in this game as well.

England will look to avoid an embarrassment with a consolation win in the final WODI.

The English women seem to be a bit clueless against the Indian lineup and were rattled in all three facets of the games. The visitors now find themselves on the verge of an unexpected series whitewash, which they would like to avoid with a solitary win over the hosts.

Batting

Natalie Sciver is the only batsmen to challenge the hosts in both games. Sciver amassed 44 runs in the series opener followed by a gritty 85 in second, and the team will need her to continue the good run in the final ODI. Skipper Heather Knight scored an unbeaten 39 in the first ODI and she will be expected to play a captain's knock here. While Tammy Beaumont got starts in both games, she failed to capitalize on the opportunity and will be backed to make it better here.

Bowling

Anya Shrubsole and Georgia Elwiss have been Englands best performers in the series with three wickets, and skipper Knight will need them to clinch a few vital breakthroughs during the powerplay overs. Tammy Beaumont and Sophie Ecclestone will be Heather's key shuffles during the middle overs.

Expected Playing XI
