India's top performers in the West Indies tri-series
With India ending up with another Title, here are men who stole the limelight in the recently concluded Tri series in Caribbean.
1. Rohit Sharma:
Matches: 5 Runs: 217 Highest score: 60
Currently, Rohit Sharma as an opener looks completely different than the Rohit we saw playing in middle-order. He, along with Shikhar Dhawan, have given quite good starts on more occasions than one. His partner Shikhar Dhawan failed to continue his fine form from the Champions Trophy, but Rohit Sharma has impressed in almost all matches. The best of the lot being his composed innings in tri-series Final where the rest of the batsman struggled to stick around at the crease for long. He again showed that he had the technique and temperament to succeed in tough conditions. Though his inability to convert 40s and 50s into big scores continue to haunt him. If he can overcome this then he can be a good prospect for Indian team in the near future.
