IPL 2012 : Kolkata Knight Riders vs Delhi Daredevils LIVE

Game two of IPL 2012 features the Kolkata Knight Riders, led by Gautam Gambhir, taking on Virender Sehwag‘s Delhi Daredevils.

Both teams will be looking for a fresh, positive start to their 2012 campaigns by going all out to win this one. Since their head to head record is tied at 3-3, winning this encounter to break the deadlock should be an added incentive for both teams.

Last season, the Daredevils lost to the Knight Riders by 17 runs at their own ground. They’ll be gunning for revenge this time around with the likes of heavyweights such as Sehwag, Morne Morkel, Irfan Pathan and Andre Russell looking to cause damage to the Kolkata outfit. It’ll be interesting to see if the promising pacer duo of Umesh Yadav and Varun Aaron are selected for the match. If selected, both bowlers are capable of  surprising the batsman with pace and taking crucial wickets for their side.

The Knight Riders, on the other hand, have a consistent batsman in the form of their captain, Gautam Gambhir, apart from the likes of Jacques Kallis, Brendan McCullum, Brett Lee, Yusuf Pathan and their newest acquisition and in-form player – Sunil Narine.
