IPL 2014: Kings XI Punjab retain David Miller and Manan Vohra
Kings XI Punjab have decided to retain hard hitting South African batsman David Miller and youngster Manan Vohra ahead of the IPL auctions next month. Kings XI Punjab confirmed it on Twitter:
Official announcement: KXIP has retained @DavidMillerSA12 @ImMananVohra. What are your views on the same?

While retaining Miller was something everyone expected the team to do, the Punjab franchise have shocked quite a few people by retaining Vohra, the 20-year-old opening batsman form Punjab.
Vohra has played just 6 first-class matches so far and has scored a hundred and two fifties. What probably prompted the Kings XI to retain Vohra was his mammoth 187 in the Ranji Trophy just over a week back against a Jharkhand attack which included the likes of India pacer Varun Aaron.
By retaining only two players, the franchise have made sure that they will carry a lot more money than most other teams into the auctions to be held on 12th and 13th February 2014.
The Priety Zinta co-owned franchise will be looking for a overhaul to their team as they look to reach the semifinals stage once again. The franchise made it to the last 4 stage in the first season of the Indian Premier League but have failed to do so ever since.
