The Indian Premier League in into its 9th season and different franchises have all invested heavily to build their teams. The IPL auction is an event in itself with money being splurged and players being bought and sold.
In the jungle, there are different players who are almost like globe-trotters, and in the quest of forming a team which has all the bases covered, sometimes the entire team is restructured. Different players are released and many different acquired. Players very often do not quite fit into the scheme of things of a particular team, and hence are released. It is a franctic process and over the years there have been players who have played for different teams in different seasons.

The dimunitive left-hander from Gujarat has had to travel a lot in the nine seasons and he has been a part of as many as 6 different franchises.
Parthiv started off his IPL sojourn with Chennai Super Kings for whom he played 3 years, and then has been on a costant move.
