IPL 2016: Aaron Finch loses temper after dismissal against Kolkata Knight Riders
The Suresh Raina-led Gujarat Lions side returned to winning ways after it defeated the in-form Kolkata Knight Riders by 5 wickets at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Gujarat Lions had previously lost their last three matches against Delhi Daredevils, Kings XI Punjab and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
The Gujarat Lions had a terrific outing at the Eden Gardens last night. Not only did they win the toss, the Rajkot-based IPL franchise outplayed the Knight Riders in almost all the departments of the game.
The Lions bowling unit, led by the experienced Praveen Kumar picked up a number of early wickets to reduce the Kolkata Knight Riders side to 24 for 4 at one stage.
Although, Yusuf Pathan and Shakib Al Hasan added another 134 runs for a record 5th wicket partnership to give the Kolkata Knight Riders bowlers a formidable target to defend, the Gujarat Lions openers, Brendon McCullum and Dwayne Smith gave them a solid start to heavily tilt the match in their favour.
Steered by Dinesh Karthik's 29-ball 51, Gujarat Lions cruised to a 5-wicket victory at the Eden Gardens last night. However, one particular incident is bound to raise a number of eyebrows in the Rajkot-based IPL franchise's dressing room, and that is the way the Aussie batsman, Aaron Finch reacted after getting run-out by Manish Pandey.

Aaron Finch looked in fine form last night as he scored a 10-ball 29 thanks to three boundaries and a couple of massive sixes. The Gujarat Lions were just 11 runs away from their target when Finch had to return to the pavilion after a terrible mix-up with Ravindra Jadeja.
The 29-year-old Australian batsman was a long way off the popping crease as Manish Pandey, who happens to be one of KKR's better fielders, ran him out. Finch seemed visibly angry as he threw his helmet as soon as he entered the Lions’ dugout. Here is an image which shows the exact moment when Aaron Finch was run-out:
However, it seems that Aaron Finch didn't take the incident too far as he tweeted a picture of himself with Ravindra Jadeja which exhibits the duo having a good time at the Gujarat Lions dressing room after yesterday's much-needed victory.
