Virat Kohli after reaching his hundred against KXIP at Bengaluru

Virat Kohli’s superhuman effort last night helped Royal Challengers Bangalore to register a comprehensive win against Kings XI Punjab at Bengaluru. The star Indian batsman played a majestic knock of 113 off just 50 balls in a rain-affected match which was reduced to 15 overs a side.

Banking on Kohli’s yet another master-class, RCB posted a mammoth 211 on the board and won the match by a staggering 82 runs. The 27-year-old Indian Test captain’s phenomenal run continues as he is breaking records left, right and center in virtually every match.

The Delhi-born is the only man with four hundreds in a single T20 tournament in history. He is the first man to breach the 800-run mark in a single edition of the tournament. With his exceptional consistency, he also became the highest run-scorer in the history of the tournament and the only player to cross 4000-runs mark.

Kohli played the match with a finger injury which he sustained in the last match against Kolkata Knight Riders. Yesterday’s match was a must-win encounter for his side and the captain played with multiple stitches in his split webbing. After reaching the hundred he gestured towards the dugout that he the pain cannot stop him from making the game look beautiful.

The whole cricketing world hail Kohli for his sheer passion, intensity and unreal consistency on Twitter.
