GL’s bowlers had an ordinary day today. They started well in the first six overs but Virat Kohli played a gem of an innings and pushed the score to 180. Ravindra Jadeja was the standout performer for Gujarat Lions.

Shane Watson picked a wicket and stays at number five in the top wicket-takers chart. Tabraiz Shamsi had a decent game and picked up the important wicket of Brendon McCullum.

Shakib Al Hasan had a good game. He dismissed Faf du Plessis with a beautiful delivery.

Perera tried to win the game for Pune but it was not to be today. Umesh Yadav of all people hit a six to finish the match in style. This match was a cracker.

Mitchell McClenaghan of Mumbai Indians still leads the chart with nine wickets.

Good fielding will give you an advantage. Whereas, great fielding will win you matches. We have seen some exceptional fielding in IPL so far.

Ravindra Jadeja had the Freecharge Bolt Moment of match one. Pune was excellent in the field as well. AB de Villiers has the most catches in IPL 9. While, Parthiv Patel has the most dismissals as a wicketkeeper. Watson-Weise relay catch is the best catch in IPL 2016 so far.
