IPL 2016: Highest/Most Run-Scorers, Leading Wicket-Takers after Gujarat Lions (GL) vs Delhi Daredevils (DD)
Gujarat Lions played Delhi Daredevils on 3 May 2016. Gujarat Lions entered the game at number one. Delhi Daredevils are one of the better performers of IPL 2016. Both the teams looked for a win. Gujarat Lions had lost their previous game against Kings XI Punjab. While Delhi Daredevils won against Kolkata Knight Riders in their last match.
Delhi Daredevils won the toss and chose to bowl first.
"Looks a good wicket and it is good to know what we will be chasing. Fantastic game of cricket overall last game. Enjoying being out there with this young side. JP and Nadeem come in for Shreyas and Carlos." Zaheer Khan said.
"We have done well in away games but Delhi have done well against us. The wicket was slow in the last game and was difficult to maintain the shape. Bravo got injured, so Finchy comes back." Suresh Raina added.

Aaron Finch made a comeback to the Gujarat Lions.
Gujarat Lions had lost three big wickets in the first four overs. McCullum and Finch were dismissed for single digits while Smith was removed for 15 runs.
Dwayne Smith scored over 2000 in IPL runs so far. Dinesh Karthik scored his second half-century of IPL 2016. Karthik and Jadeja made sure that Gujarat Lions posted a competitive total on the board.

Quinton de Kock and Rishabh Pant took charge right from ball one. Pant scored a brilliant half-century in just 25 balls.
Virat Kohli leads the run-scorers chart. Suresh Raina moved up the chart. Quinton de Kock enters the leading run-scorers chart as well.

Nadeem picked up two crucial wickets early on. Amit Mishra removed GL’s captain Suresh Raina. DD picked up wickets at regular intervals and was key to their success as a bowling unit today.

Gujarat Lions didn’t have a great day with the ball. They managed to take only two wickets. Duminy and Samson guided Delhi Daredevils to a comfortable victory.
Mitchell McClenaghan has the most wickets in the tournament and is the current Purple Cap holder. He moved up in the leading wicket-takers chart.
